Charlie Haden "Rambling Boy"
I flew over from the island yesterday to catch the Charlie Haden film at the film festival. I thought it was excellent, with very perceptive interviews from some of the greats (Jarrett, Metheny, Carla Bley) with whom he has worked, great stuff with Charlie himself, and a wealth of historical audio and film segments dating back to Charlie's early (age 2) days in the Haden family band. I think it's on again today (Friday) so if you have a chance to check it out I would highly recommend it.

Saw it today (Friday Oct 16) and I agree Phil......Charlie was there as well and took a lot of questions from the floor and was very gracious. Lots of musicians in attendance.....worthwhile.
