Gregg Simpson Jazz Hour

This week it's African-influenced jazz, including two Art Blakey groups: The Afro Drum Ensemble and the Jazz Messengers, Herbie Hancock's Mwandishi, and John Coltrane's Kulu Se Mama.

Coming soon, poetry and jazz collaborations from Al Neil and Kenneth Patchen to The Lonesome Monsters.
