Classical Joint

Got the following email from Pierre Stolte
Quote:
On your website you mention that The Classical Joint was founded by Andreas Nothiger in 1970. Actually, the place was built by my father Klaus Werner Stolte in 1968-1969 (prior to my parents' divorce in 1970). In all likelihood, he sold the business to Mr. Nothiger shortly thereafter (and then it became famous).

I was there when the place was being constructed (getting a splinter and hot chocolate) and my mother (who's still alive) remembers making all the cushions for the it and scraping the plaster off the walls when they were remodeling the space.

And the name was always The Classical Joint, because that's how even I remember it.

Correctively yours,
PaS
