World's oldest record store may be forced to close

Guinness World Records claims that Spiller's Records, in downtown Cardiff, Wales is the world's oldest record store. They were selling wax cylinders in 1894. The landlord plans to renovate the building and double their rent which would force them out of business. (You mean that doesn't just happen in Vancouver?)

We warned Mr Todd that he is standing in the way of progress. The rent in their present location will at some point be unaffordable.
Progress.
