"NPR's Felix Contreras reports on jazz musician Henry Grimes. In the 1950's and '60's, Grimes was on the jazz A-list. He was an in-demand bass player whose talents spanned the swing of Benny Goodman and the avant-garde work of Albert Ayler. Then he disappeared. Two years ago, a jazz fan and social worker found him living in a single-room hotel in Los Angeles. Tonight, Henry Grimes takes the stage again at a tribute to him at the Vision Festival in New York."
