Far be it for me to compliment my friends on their playing but I have to say: Morgan, you burned Friday night. I was sitting side stage watching you guys, and you should of seen everyone's face when you exploded on that long tune with the piano cadenza. THAT'S jazz.

Man I've got Morgan's gigs at jazzfest this year highlighted on my calender. I played a gig with him once where the other musicians were...well, let's just say it wasn't the Count Basie Orchestra. But I heard enough of Morgan to make me want to hear more.
