Cellar Live has just released two new recording. First is The Kevin Elashcuk/Campbell Ryga Quartet with Elaschuk on trumpet, Ryga on alto sax, Chris Nelson on bass and Brad Turner on drums. Its available at The Cellar.

Charles McPherson an alto sax led the burning quartet of Ross Taggart on piano, Jodi Proznick on bass and Blaine Wikjord on drums through a burning set of standards and clever orginals. This CD will be available at The Cellar on Wednesday, December 11th.

Actually, I think the Sun uses a five-star rating, which makes it even worse. At least, the movie section uses a five-star rating. I doubt they would have two different rating systems.

Kevin was thoughtful enough to send a copy of his new CD with Peggy and Dylan on their visit to LA. I was at one of the nights at the cellar and knew it would be good and it's even better than I remember! Highly recommended. Beautiful music guys
