I didn't necessarily get that meaning from this:
"The online service will include three new web-only radio stations, each dedicated to a different genre — classical, singer-songwriter or jazz."

If the statement had have said "classical, singer-songwriter AND jazz" I would feel more confident they really meant it. The 'or' suggests to me they haven't really made up their minds yet.

And no mention of Labour Day anywhere.
Do you have special access to info we're not getting ?

I agree with Lazz......far too vague.....it sounds like a quote from the CBC's upper management who have always been out of touch with the listeners and often their own staff. Nothing definite here.

Based on this article there's going to be a show running 6-10AM featuring "A music program dedicated to a range of genres, including classical, pop, jazz and roots music." Also included in the revamp of programming is 3 web only radio stations including one dedicated entirely to jazz.

Looks like I didn't read the article carefully. I misread the "or" in the phrase "classical, singer-songwriter or jazz" as "and."

The statement about it starting on Labour Day came from the preceding paragraph, but, as you guys pointed out, it's less than clear.

Sorry. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
