Bill Evans - "Comrade Conrad" (13 pages!): http://www.selu.edu/34skid/html/comrade_conrad1.html
"Comrad Conrad" is like whole Jazz Course unto itself. Evans' simple melody
ingeniously leads us to a new tonal center every 16 bars, and changes time
signature from 4/4 to 3/4 (or back) with each key change. So by the end of
his solo, each soloist has improvised in all 12 keys, in 4/4 and 3/4. And it
all sounds so easy.... genius.
