i am a jazz pianist and electronic music producer out of seattle, WA. i'm looking for jazz soloists on any instrument who would like to perform to my electronic grooves. my music ranges from modal jams to modern reharmonizations of classic jazz tunes.

i frequently visit vancouver BC and would be able to record you at a friend's studio, or if you ever visit seattle, i have a home studio near greenlake.

my project is called "revolution void" and has a few releases out on new york and UK labels. a short list of the musicians i have recorded for revolution void material follows-

* seamus "moose" blake, sax, records with kurt rosenwinkel, john scofield.
* matthew garrison, 5-string bass, tours with herbie hancock and also has his own awesome electronic/fusion project. www.garrisonjazz.com (http://www.garrisonjazz.com)
* lucas "pick" pickford, bass, released his first album with steve hunt who is a great keyboardist who has played with a lot of fusion legends. www.lucaspickford.com (http://www.lucaspickford.com)
* billy "illy B" martin, drums, MM&W and runs his own label amulet records where he releases avant-garde and experimental percussion records.
* michael shrieve, drums, orig drummer for santana and performs regularly with bill frisell and wayne horvitz (who i took took a couple piano lessons from, after meeting him thru mike.)
* james "roto" rotondi, guitar & bass, well-known writer and studio musician, has toured with les & brain from primus and, most recently, the french band air.
* cochemea gastelum, sax & flute, has toured extensively with RW's 20th congress and they are now on tour with fred wesley of the JB's and parliament.
* david gonzalez, spoken word artist and teacher at NYU as well as theatrical/vocal performance on 42nd street with his group "sofrito" and jazz guitar.
* srdjan "gino" yevdjevich, vocals, was the #1 bosnian pop/rock star for years until civil unrest brought him to the west coast, where he performs with his band kultur shock, which at times boasts 10 members from 5 different countries!
* elysha "ill-esha" zaide, vancouver's own jungle diva & DJ prodigy, is a classically trained pianist with perfect pitch who has been professionally in the vancouver rave scene from 14 and internationally from 16. she is now 19 years old. www.illesha.com (http://www.illesha.com)
* dave hill jr., drums, writer for remix and modern drummer magazine and up until he moved to new york 2 years ago, had been a staple of the west coast rock/funk/jam scene for 10+ years.

anyway if u would like to appear on songs alongside any of these musicians or work on new collaborations with chord changes u've written, i am available as a producer and am interested. please send me an email at jdempcy@attbi.com or check out the website (which has material from 1-2 years ago) at http://www.revolutionvoid.com

thanks,
