This will be the last Friday for the Gregg Simpson Jazz Hour as it will be moving to Thursday at 4pm for next week. Nou please take note...
This week however, we have a dynamite show with some tapes made by Les Szabo for the Joint is Jumping, on CFRO Co-op Radio.
Recorded in 1984 on one of the regular Sundays at the Classical Joint we will hear the Glenna Powrie Quintet with Phil Dwyer, tenor sax (and drums on one cut), Perry White, tenor sax, Glenna on piano, Mike Lent, bass and some amazing playing by Ian Hood on drums.
