Today on the Gregg Simpson Jazz Hour it's easy listenin', sort of mainstream summer jazz: Grant Green, Oscar Peterson, Al Cohn and Zoot Sims, Harold Land, The Three Sounds and Gerry Mulligan.

Next week the show is on early 60's almost free jazz. Ornette Coleman, Booker Little, Eric Dolphy, Roland Kirk, Max Roach and Cecil Taylor will be featured.

At 7pm don't miss Berlioz to Bartok. The topic for today is Fountains, Lakes and Rivers. That's not Pete Fountain, Oliver Lake and Sam Rivers. It's Respighi, Debussy, Griffes, Liszt, Wagner, Strauss Jr. and Smetana.

The Berlioz to Bartok show this week is actually different than I posted. That one will be next week.

They're running this show because the system was down last week.

Right now it is the Tropical Nights feature: Gershwin, Gottshalk, Leroy Anderson, Les Baxter, the Carioca and Darius Milhaud. Tune in now at www.artisanradio.com
