Just takin' it easy on a holiday afternoon, mostly did a bit of a Tony Scott retrospective with another few easy listening favorites thrown in. Next week is the fundraising marathon kickoff which combines the A-Trane with a couple of other related shows (Crossroads and the Gospel Train at least) and takes us from 2:30 to about 10 pm, a real marathon - send in your requests ... N

Planning a genre-bending cross-show collaboration tomorrow between The A-Trane, the Gospel Train, Crossroads and all points in between. We'll probably have a train subtheme given the focus of the shows above, some giveaways and lots of fun to kick off this year's spring fundraising drive. Check in between 2:30 and 10 pm for some great tunes.

Last show of this year's Spring Membership Drive tomorrow (we were pre-empted last week); now that this year's Jazz Festival lineup has been announced (see http://www.coastaljazz.ca/index.cfm?page_id=62), this week's show will mainly be an overview of this year's jazz festival performers with more in depth individual profiles over the next couple of months.

Also dropping into the studio will be Gregg Simpson (and perhaps other surprise guests but certainly not Brian Nation) for a chat and a hang. Check it out ... N.
