Tania's Downtown Tapas Bar in Nanaimo is opening "The Red Room Lounge" April 22nd, 2006. They have built a beautiful stage around Nanaimo's Jazz scene, which is picking up steam again. Live Jazz takes place Saturdays at 8 pm and will before too long, be on 5 nights a week. Located at #1-75 Front St. near the Harbour Air terminal and old Harbour Lynx ferry downtown on Front St. I've been Headlining Tania's for a year now on Saturday nights. The Manager, Tom Lozza, is dedicated to live music and is a friend to numerous musicians in Vancouver and Nanaimo. He has been consulting with musicians all throughout construction of the stage etc. A serious scene is about to burst out... You can email me if you have questions...
